Heavy accident on the Norbert Neeckxlaan In BELGIUM

Fire brigade Lommel today had a hellish day behind it. An accident with a fire truck happened on the Norbert Neeckxlaan in Lommel. The 680,000 euro ladder car collided with a car with a horse trailer that came from a side street. The fire truck started to swing and crashed into the roadside. The other vehicle landed against the façade of a gas station.

The firefighters were on their way to a chimney fire. They sustained minor injuries. The colleagues had to free the occupants of the car. A firefighter sustained injuries.



Earlier an accident happened on the Ringlaan that runs parallel. There were also a tractor and a van crashed together around 3.30 pm.  Fire brigade Lommel also had to carry out that liberation.
