BREAKING : 'Huge fire' in B&M store prompts evacuation and road closures

Images on social media today show smoke pouring from the area surrounding the building, which is part of the Clifton Moor retail park in York.



The A1237 has been closed between Wigginton and Clifton Moor as the smoke has created hazardous conditions for drivers, North Yorkshire Police said.



A force Twitter account said: "All emergency services on scene at a large fire at B&M Store at Clifton Moor.



"Smoke is causing issues meaning there are road closures in place out to the A1237."
